Tragic beginning of the Great Patriotic war when Red army retreated while suffering heavy losses in both manpower and vehicles led to a necessity to replenish troops to defend Moscow. Those who were normally considered unfit for army service were now conscripted. Both young and old went to war led by patriotic fervor. However, since retreating Red army lost about 60% of all weapon supplies, so the new conscripts had to be armed with any weapons that could be found (mostly obsolete). Contents: 5 unpainted soldiers - 1 unit base with flag - 1 unit card
